Kansas City or Bust

My Sammer came with us to Kansas for Jessica Canada's and Adam Sokoloff's wedding. He was so good and we had a blast!!! The day of the wedding, downtown Kansas had an amazing kids fair complete with a petting zoo, face painted station and a choo choo ride. Epic.

Sam loved the bead station. Though I was pushing him to make me a beautiful piece of jewelry, he mainly just played with all the pretty plastic beads.

The petting zoo was awesome. They had a zebra (shown), pigs, camels, ostriches (or emus), baby goats and other amazing animals. Very, very cool for a downtown city block!
Even more than the actual animals, Sam was enamored by the large painted animals on the street. Loved them!He loved the lion. Rarrrrrr!
"Mom - it's like 178 degrees. I am way to hot to smile on this choo choo!"
On the way out, we bought some snickerdoodle cookies from a little boy selling 3 for a dollar. Anything to support a fellow entrepreneur.

On the way back, we stopped at what seemed like every single window sill. But at least it provided the needed shade to demolish our snickerdoodles. Plus, I just love this photo!!!
