Wow- I cannot believe that it is already May 12th! Time really flies. Pat and I were talking today and in only 7 weeks I will be considered full term .... that is less than 2 months! CRAZY! Oh, and I had my first Mother's Day as a mom and it was amazing! I got lots of great texts and calls from friends and family.....cannot wait for next year when we will have little Sam around to hang out with us!
So some fun things that have happened recently. May 2nd Pat and I were out and I felt for the first time baby hiccup! I never really thought that I would be able to feel it or know what it was if I did, but I did! It was rhythmic like a heartbeat but slower and lighter than kicks. Very cool! And he has had them several times since.
He still kicks and moves pretty regularly which is the favorite parts of my day! It never ever gets old!
Recently I have been having Braxton Kicks contractions. Again, something I never thought I would feel or know what they were, but they have come. Kinda freaky and weird, but I guess they are normal.
One last recent thing that is pretty crazy and weird. We have been able to feel him a little better. We cannot distinguish what is a hand or a foot, but there are defiantly hard spots that are his little body. However, this morning Pat was feeling my tummy and felt what we are both sure was his head. It was like a little baseball sitting lower in my tummy. So crazy! But so awesome! It is still hard to believe that our little angel is growing as we speak in my belly. I don't know if I can ever wrap my head around it, but man does it rock!
I will update a photo tomorrow of the ever growing belly - it is getting very huge!
