I wanna be like you, Dad....

Sam is such a funny kid - when he plays hockey, he wears a hockey jersey, when he plays football, he wears a football jersey, helmet and even football underwear.  He is awesomely authentic with his sports!

And most every night he pulls everything out of his drawers to get his outfit to sleep in (even after we have decided on pjs or a jersey).  For some reason when the lights go down, he is tucked in and we are out of there he feels the need to change. 

Last night Sam had 5 tee shirts on before bed because as he changed he kept on the previous layers.  We changed into Spiderman pjs and he went to bed.

30 minutes later he came out of his room (with every drawer emptied) and came in his "green shirt" because "I want to by like my dad." 

Damn cute.

Lauren's First Birthday

Our sweet baby girl is one today!  I got back from Vail just in time to give her a big kiss, hang out with Gigi and Grandpa Michael and give her a whack at her first piece of cake!

She is such a wonderful kid - loving, happy, funny and cute!  We are so inlove with her!

Lauren Stats at ONE year old....

• 2 front lower teeth
• Almost walking - loves to walk around the furniture
• Laughs out the window when driving
• Sleeps from 8am-8pm most nights
• Happy all the time
• 1 Target ad on Target.com
• Has mastered climbing stairs....and going down them
• A great eater (loves her pancakes)
• Simply amazing

What goes up....

Shortly after Lauren learned how to up the stairs, se learned how to go down them.
A quick study, sweet Lo is heading both up and down stairs like a champ!

Oh, and she LOVES walking behind stools, strollers and ottomans.... She will be a walking baby so soon!

She loves pushing her baby around in her awesome baby stroller. She goes back and forth around the room over and over....she is so happy!

She is wonderful and we love her to pieces.

Two teeth!

Lauren has her two teeth....just a shade under her 1st birthday!  But that doesn't stop her from being able to eat all her favorite foods.  She is very talented :)

Sleeping in his equipment...again.

I slept too fast

Sam fell asleep the other night at 6pm and woke up at 11. He was super hungry and told me that he had to eat because "he fell asleep too fast."
We had a PB & J around the table at 11:30; it was one of my favorite moments ever.

"I want to be on daddy's team"

So... Last night before bed Pat and I went in to give Sam a LSD for bed. This was his room. (It was perfectly clean before he went to bed).
He had changed out of the pjs that he went to bed in and changed into a St Johns short and red coordinating shorts.
When I asks him this morning why he changed he said "I want to be on daddy's team!"
Awesome.

Easter 2013

We had an awesome day! Easter eggs and baskets, church, breakfast with Grandpa Dude, a relaxing day playing hockey (shocking) and an awesome night at PSAs with ribs!!!

Sam got a Parise jersey from the Easter bunny (Gigi) and was thrilled beyond belief!
Lauren was happy and awesome the entire day (shocking, I know!) and was content with a plastic egg her brother gave to her.
I love our life!  I love Easter!  I love these kids beyond everything!
