A week ago we had some major chances in our family! Sam got a BIG BOY BED! Pat painted Lauren's room and we decided that since everything was out in order to do that, we should just make the big move and put the crib in the nursery and get Sam a big boy bed!
So equipped with a new twin bed on the floor and brand new "Cars 2" sheets, we were ready! He slept through the night the first night he slept in his bed! What a stud. We watched him on the monitor and any time that he would get out we would say "Sam...." and he would scurry back in bed! It was hilarious!
Other funny things Sammer is doing....
When we ask him a question, sometimes he will say "Hmmm....I wonder...." - way too cute!
When he does not want to do some things, we will say "N0 way, Jose!"
He will say "Don't worry Mama, I got it" when he wants to do something himself or when I ask him to do something.
He can name several Wild players.....some favorites -Koivu (blue "hockey guy", Heatly "yellow hockey guy", Backstrom (any goalie) and Clutterbuck!
For Pat's 34th birthday, Sam got to pick out a balloon, any balloon, for daddy. He chose a Minnesota Vikings balloon (which Pat loved!). He kept talking about "Daddy's Birthday" all day and even sang him "Happy Birthday" 4 times!
When Sam will kick or be too rough, he is very good at saying "Sorry" right away!
Oh, and sometimes he will remind us to say prayers at dinner by starting..."Father, Son, Poey, Spirit, Amen!"
On our OTHER baby news....baby Lauren is doing great! She is moving all the time and I swear the other day I felt an arm or leg or something poking out of my belly! We have her nursery painted and starting to get the decor ready. Love, love, love it!
Life is good.....really, really good!
