Brushing his Teeth, Putting on his Shoes and his FIRST "Sentence"

Sam loves to rock in chairs - it is so cute to watch him climb up, sit back and start rocking. Here he is with a book for reading and his beloved toothbrush! He is "signing" to me that he wants to brush his teeth (which really means he just wants to suck off the yummy, fruit flavored toothpaste)

Sammy also is a shoe man! Here he is putting on his Jordans, but he is not particular on the shoes. He has been known to sport some of dad's shoes and even some of mama's heels! That is so awesome!


I love this photo of Sam with "Nana" in Luverne during our last trip down last weekend. Shortly after they finished "washing the dishes" (aka splashing in the sink with lots of fun toys), Grandma Connie went downstairs and Sam said "Nana Go." It was amazing - what a smartie!!!!

Fun Spring Photos

Sam, Louis and I on our first walk of the season. Left so good! Sam is getting so big - he was literally taking the reigns! Sam and I went to Dad's hockey game last Saturday night and he loved it! We had sticks, hockey pucks and basketballs to keep us busy! He was very proud of his Dad and Pat was pretty proud of his sports obsessed kiddo!

First thing Sam did when we got home from the game! Think someone is obsessed?!

Balls...balls....balls

Our kid is the best! The new game is throwing a ball on top of anything - table, chair, bed....and then coming to us going "mama, dada, ball" and we have to get it. We give it to him, he throws it up there and then it happens again.

So we invented this game of street ball with a cheap laundry basket as the "hoop" and any ball will work as the basketball. We can play for hours! Sam even pulls the basket down to retrieve the ball and attempts to put it back to to play again!

What a self-sufficient kid! Love him.
