Sam's 2nd 1st Birthday Party

We had a great time at Sam's First 'Friend' Birthday party! We did a vintage baseball theme...so fun!

Some fun food that we made for this big day!

Here is Wyatt, Sam and Cael having fun with the car....men, typical.

The Birthday Boy still loves his Johnny Jump Up!!! Thank goodness we can use it outside on the tree.
Here is Daddy and Sammy looking at airplanes, a current obsession of Sam's.
Lou B and Sam - very cute photo - couldn't resist!
Sam, and some of his buds who are all kiddos of my buds. How fun is that?!?!
Um...not yet, Petite Party! Let's wait on the beer for a couple years, eh? Nice try!
Happy Birthday to You!!!

Luverne July 2010 +Sam's First Birthday Party!

We had a fabulous long weekend in Luverne over the Member/Guest golf tourney at the LCC.
When we got in on Thursday, it was late and we went straight to bed. The next morning Pat and Tim got up to begin their 2 day golf tourney. The first day Pat didn't do so hot and Tim did amazingly. BUT the next day Pat did get a hold in one!!! Pat was SO excited!

They have a derby on the course where everyone follows the best 10 member and guest teams around with cocktails and beers. Pretty fun! After, we went out to the steak house and Papa Tim and Grandma Connie took Sammy back to the house to hang out because he was tired! It was a long, fun day.
Sweet, sleeping, golfing baby

Sam and his beloved Papa Tim
Connie and I had a great time shopping at the Children's Store in Worthington - the BEST kids store ever. Of course we got Sammy some great threads and kicks for his big birthday party that Sunday.

Sam is really getting the hang of walking now when he holds your hand.
He has 5 1/2teeth (3 1/2 on the top and 2 on the bottom in the middle, but it is not like you would ever know he is teething! He is happy as can be and such a trooper!
Also, Grandma Connie and Papa Tim taught Sam "SO BIG" (below with one hand because he is eating) and "paddy cake" over the weekend. He picked it up right away and was a very big show off! He is sometimes hit or miss with the "tricks", but caught on right away. I think he just likes us to beg :)

He also LOVES to watch the cars and trucks drive by. We all took turns holding him out on the porch as he watched vehicles drive back and forth for hours. One time Sam fell asleep in Papa Tim's arms when he was car watching...he couldn't take his eyes off of them and he just started to daze and fell asleep. I have a feeling he will like cars and trucks for years to come!!!

On Sunday we had a fabulous birthday party for Sam! His first part of this young life! Everyone came and Peggy made a wonderful Twins cake to go along with his baseball theme party.

Sam also loved having the pool too - he just loves swimming!!!

It was another wonderful weekend in Luverne....as always.

Photos coming soon....

Sam's First Forth of July 2010

Sam's First 4th of July

We had a great time at the fireworks at Grandpa Dude's and Grandma Lefty's house! Every Wednesday before the forth we head over to their house for some good pizza and some fabulous fireworks.
Sam LOVED the fireworks!!! Too bad he was a out too late waiting for them to start!
Then on the 4th of July, Sammy was SO excited for fireworks again at Auntie Cristin's house for her annual party.

Upon arrival Sam received a fabulous outfit from Cristin and her mom - hat included! How fabulous does he look? Auntie Cristin thought he looked so great in his new outfit she had to give him a big kiss !

Sam walked a lot that day with Cristin, Dad and Mom - here is a darling photo of Sam with Daddy going up the hill!

Sam was thirsty....

Thankfully it was not opened!!!

Here we are walking on the dock....
Here we are on the dock watching the incredible fireworks on the lake! Thank goodness to Auntie Court and Uncle Ira for the ear phones that kept the noises quiet! We would have been in trouble!
