And a 4th......

Sam got his official 4th tooth today - it is on the top, on the right of his other top toofer. He was such a trooper again and didn't fuss much at all with this baby coming in!
He is standing up on everything now! He just loves to pull himself up and hang out. He stands in his crib, which makes getting him to sleep more challenging. But he is getting much better and sitting down once he stands up.
He loves to try everything we eat and is not a picky eater at all! Yay!
Although he is still very "wiggly" and loves to move, now he does have times when he rests his head on our shoulders for a little loven' time. Seriously, melt my heart!

Photos to come!!!

More firsts....and thirds

Sunday Sam stood up at her ottoman at Annie's on Mothers Day. He has done it a could times before, but it has never been consistent. So when he did it, it was cool, but he wouldn't do it again that night consistently.

BUT come Monday, he is a stand up king! All he wants to do is stand up and pull himself up. Seriously, every time I turned around he was up on something - toys, tables, chairs, STAIRS! I cannot believe!
Then Monday Sam got is THIRD tooth!!! Ok, seriously. What is going on with my baby? He is such a BIG boy!!!

My First Mother's Day

MOTHER'S DAY 2010!

Today was my first Mother's Day! It was amazing. I woke up late with a hot breakfast on the table along with flowers and cards from my guys.

Then Pat, Sam and I went to our first game together as a family at Target Field. The weather was perfect and sunny and the Twins play a great game.
Here is Wally the Beerman, Sam and Pat. Is it weird that Wally knows Pats name by heart? Hmm...drinking too much beer maybe?
Twins won 6-0 yesterday! Awesome game and Sam lasted until the 8th inning. But when we left, he was so tired. But not tired enough to let go of his baseball bat!
Then we went to Annie's for our family Mother's Day dinner! I loved spending the night with my family on this special day. The above photo is really special to me - the 4 generations on Mother's Day!
At the end of the night, Sammy was so very tired. But again, not tired enough to left go of his new Twins baseball bat!

Our Trip to AZ and Palm Springs for Girls Trip 2010

Here is Sam on our way to Arizona with Gigi to meet Auntie Nicole and Marla. We had a great time in first class. Sam was awesome!!! Very busy, but very good!!!
Here is Mama and Sammy on the airplane!

Sam loved the pool! My little water baby had the best time with Gigi in the pool. Another notable event was Sam got his second tooth that came in on the top on this trip. So he has one on the bottom right and this new one on the top left. Crazy!
Nana loved seeing Sam too when we went to visit her. She was not feeling great, but was very happy that we brought Sam to visit her. Of course, Sam was a great little boy!

On Wednesday we had an awesome time listening to music and dancing at a nearby club. Marla loved dancing with Sam during her requested "Wild Nights" with the beautiful scenery in the background.
Here is Sam and Auntie Nicole. We are very excited to meet Nicole's baby in December!!!

On Thursday Nicole, Sam and I drove to Palm Springs to meet the girls, Dayton and Lucy in Palm Springs. The drive was great and went quickly. Here is Sam and I at the pool our first day there with everyone. Again, he loved the pool!!!
Here is Sam after his first bath there! How cute is this?! My little man!!! He also got to be so very good at walking with the help of our fingers. I have a feeling he will be walking on his own very soon! I cannot believe it!

Here is big Dayton and Auntie Cris. We were SO excited to meet him!!! He looks so dang cute and so big and healthy!
Auntie Canada and Auntie Cris help Sammy get into his Girls Trip 2010 tee. We all looked so amazing!

We drove back on Sunday to AZ after we visited Jo Chatalas at her house. Again the drive was great! We had a nice meal with Marla and her friends - Sam was great! We love Arizona!
Here is our last night in Arizona at dinner. Sam is with Marla who was SO nice to him!!! She gave him all her toothbrushes to play with. Sam had a great fondness for toothbrushes! They helped him brush his 2 teeth! That's right - we got his second tooth during this trip on the top left in the center. My little peanut is growing up!!!
Here is me and my perfect little buddy!
Here is Sam when he was talking to Daddy! He is SO excited to see him!
Bye Bye Arizona and Palm Springs - Hope to see you again soon!

I had Sam's beloved hockey stick in my carry on and when I went through security they told me that hockey sticks were not allowed on board. So I could either toss it or check it. Well, out of principal I got out of line, went downstairs and checked the baby's hockey stick. I got a lot of weird looks, but come one, it is a kid's hockey stick! We were very surprised when it showed up in Minneapolis!!! YAY!
