Oh, how he changes
It is really hard to believe that Mr Sam is almost 7 months old! WOW!
The last month has been jam packed full of changes. He went from waving his arms aimlessly around to reaching and grabbing for things. And, man, can he hold on tight! He went from laying on his back and rolling from side to side, to rolling over and even scooting around. He laughs now, the real gut laugh kind, at so many really funny things. Last night at my mom's birthday dinner he was laughing at Louis trying to get his diaper off. I know, a dog with a diaper on is funny to your or I, but crazy that a 6+month old can really see the humor in it. He laughed every time Louis wiggled and rubbed his head on the ground. It was hilarious! Pretty soon the whole family was gathered around Sam just gut laughing with him. It was the best! But, then again, he is the BEST!

6.5 months and counting...
My little baby is growing up! The other day he has his first cracker!!! My mom's neighbor gave it to him without me knowing. At first I was a little freaked out because he had never had one, but soon realized that he liked it and she was watching him very closely. When these little "milestones" happen it is just so weird to realize that your little baby is growing up. He now has lots of "solid" food - sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, avocado, cauliflower, squash, cereal - and it is just amazing how fast things change! They grow up before your eyes! I know, I know, pretty cliche, but VERY true! It is just so strange when your baby who used to only nurse, poop and sleep, now eats solids, grabs your face and smiles when you enter the room. Oh, and holds his OWN bottle when you are running late and still need to feed him! Mommy's little helper! I love him!!!!
Man, being a mommy is so cool! And my kid is just perfect. Life is very good!!!

My Outfit From Auntie Court
Sam LOVES his new handmade shirt from his amazing Auntie Courtney! She is amazing and SO creative!!!!!!Today he also rocked his kicks from Uncle Ira and Auntie Courtney along with his shirt!
