Garren's First Birthday - September 21st, 2009

Here is the birthday boy! I cannot belive that a year ago we were at the hospital where I changed his first poopy diaper ever! Time really flies! He loved his cake and really liked getting in there with his hands.Here is the birthday boys sister Maddy, my beautiful God daughter holding my baby. She did a great job! Only 2 months from today she will turn 4!!!! I cannot believe it!

Shots today....

At this appt he was 12 lbs and 2.5 oz and 22 5/8 inches long! Growing boy!!!

But this growing boy also got his first set of shots today! Man, was he a strong, brave boy! He got 4 in his leg - so hard to watch, but he really was awesome! Cried for a little and then was ok. I swear, I cried for longer than he did! I kept telling him that they were going to make him healthy and strong. Pat thinks it was because of his great muscle tone. We were so proud of him!!!! Later that night I think he legs were sore and he was upset, so we gave him some Tylenol and hope it helps!!! It is the worst watching your baby cry! Oh, man!!!

Auntie Kyla visits.....YEAH!

Aunite Kyla came to visit us and we had such a great time! We went to yoga, went shopping, made dinners, had dinner at a family friends' (above) and went on walks. The weather was perfect! It was so perfect! :)

Sam had his first "cooing" session the day Kyla got here. That was fun to share with her! I think he was so excited to see her she had to make sure he made his excitement that loud and clear!
Sam was so happy because Auntie Ky was so nice to him and loved cuddling him. He just had the best time! And he cannot wait to meet Ky's baby!!! I have a feeling they will be great, great, best friends!
