I spent last week/weekend in Charleston, SC with my amazing college friends. We had a wonderful time! Nicole's home was beautiful, weather was perfect and we had a blast. We celebrated Tiffy's upcoming wedding with a bachelorette party that took over the streets of downtown Charleston. Drinks and gifts at Nicole's, dinner at High Cotton and dancing at a dance club that was giving away a "rabbit" for a raffle. Pretty classic! The next day we went to the beach and I was surprised with a baby shower! It was such a wonderful surprise. It makes you so emotional to start thinking of your little one actually being here and the fact that the people you love show you how much they already love your child. Life couldn't be better!
Also, on the baby/belly front, I can feel baby now roll and move, there are not just kicks anymore, they are rolls. I can see my belly move a little differently than it did before. AND I think that I can start feeling body parts. I felt it once in Charleston and last night Pat felt my belly and there was definitely something sticking out – a leg, butt or arm or something, but it was there and very evident. Way too cool!

26 Week Belly

For your viewing pleasure - My 26 week old baby belly! Pretty crazy, eh?!

Seeing him kick!

Major blogging moment!
Pat and I were watching the Twins play and he was moving a lot and kicking pretty hard. I pulled up my shirt to show my belly and told Pat to watch it. Then, BAM!!!, a major stomach moving kick right there for both of us to see. Way too cool!!!

24.5 weeks along!

Well, we are slowing creeping to 25 weeks. Crazy! For some reason this milestone seems to be a little bit bigger than the others just as your 25th birthday was bigger than your 24. Nothing really changes except a little bit of growing, but the 25 just seems that much bigger! Maybe because now we only have 15 weeks left! Wow! Tummy is definitely growing and he is definitely kicking more. I love it so much!
We are just about to start working on our house and getting it ready for both mommmy/daddy and also baby. I CANNOT WAIT! I will keep you posted on the progress!
