23 weeks -- Another doctors appt - yeah!

We had another doctors appt today. The usual - blood pressure and weight (boo!) and then a 5 minute "how are you" talk. Today the doc measured my stomach (and uterus) to see how everything was growing. We are right on track :) He is still such a busy mover - I love it. Recently, though, I have definitely been feeling like I have more of a pregnant body. The waddle, the swelling and aches. Beautiful! We will see when I am 9.5 months pregnant in July how I am feeling!!!

Feeling Kicks!

Blogging revelation - So last night I realized that people have been feeling him kick on a regular basis. So it is not just me anymore. A major blogging moment, I think, is when the outside world can feel your little baby kick. It is VERY fun to think about and to watch people’s faces when they can feel it. This little angel is a very busy boy - he is moving all the time and can really give some good kicks and punches with a little "umph" behind them. It doesn't hurt at all (yet!) but there is no mistaking the feeling of being able to feel your baby inside you. Pretty amazing stuff!!!!!

Week 22 - over halfway!

Just when you think that you don't really look that much bigger take a photo and put it next to the one you took 5 weeks ago. Geez! I still am feeling great, even though I am on pelvic rest (long story) but feeling really good. I cannot believe that we are over halfway. Pat and I have just started to tear apart our house to update it. It will be a great way to welcome this little angel. We are excited! He is still pretty active, however there are times I want him to move all the time because feeling him is so amazing - you get addicted. However, Pat calmly makes sure I remember that he needs his rest just like mommy. Ok, Ok, baby boy, sleep, relax and grow strong! I just cannot wait to meet him!

"I can feel it kick, it's going to be a.....

Well, hockey player most likely. BUT I will push very hard for soccer ;)

Forgot a major blogging moment - Pat felt baby kick on Sunday March 8th right before we went to bed! He has been trying to feel him and getting let down every time. HE was kicking me pretty hard so I took Pat's hand. Then "BAM" he gave him a big kick! This kicking thing will never get old - it's amazing!

It's a........

Beautiful, Perfect little baby BOY!
To the left is the note we got from our ultrasound woman who was fabulous! She kept referring to our baby as "perfect" and "healthy" and I LOVED IT! And I totally agree!!! His heartbeat was 156 and all 4 chambers were perfect and kickin'.

I am so excited to have a little son. The first little Connell grandchild :)
