My 29th Birthday!

Happy 29th Birthday to me! Had a nice night on Oscar night/my birthday! My friend Carley brought her beautiful little girls Kirsten and Carolyn (my God daughter). We had a lovely time and played with Louis, a magnifying glass and their purses. Perfect! We had a great time and I cannot wait to meet our baby. Everyone says I have “popped” this past week which is very exciting. I really think it has been for a while but have heard this from several people at work so I am sure there is some truth to it. I have a doctors appt this Thursday and then our ultrasound March 6th!!! YEAH! They will be able to check that everything is perfect and be able to tell us if baby is a boy or girl. Wahoo! This week also is the anniversary of when Baby #1 would be due. So Pat and I are going to the cemetery to visit baby and send good thoughts and love. It is always a sad, but oddly peaceful thing to go to the cemetery. Last time we went back in October I prayed that when we would come back to visit on this day that we would be pregnant and be able to share the news with our little one. I know that our little angel has been with us the entire time but it will be a special time to meet as a family at Lakewood cemetery. We will be doing the same thing each year so baby #2 will be able to always connect with our first angel. Makes you remember how amazing and special all your babies are and that they all bring something to your world that was not there before. And for that we are very blessed! Xoxo

Heartheat....

So....now I am getting some slack from my brother for not consistently blogging so now I know that I have a following! YEAH! Something I have always wanted....a following. My life is really coming together.

Important news on the baby front. Lately I have been feeling some "fluttering" in my belly starting early last week. However, on Valentine's Day Pat and I were reading our Pregnancy Journal (as we usually do at night) and I felt a kick. Than another. Than another. Maybe the coolest thing in the world! Its hard because you second guess yourself all the time if what you are feeling is the baby or just something else going on in your belly, I am sure that was baby just kicking me to say hello!

Since then I have been feeling some kicks here and there and LOVE every one of them! They are still pretty soft like a little gas bubble, so I cannot wait until they are just a strong kick to the abdomen! Loving this part and I know that every day will get stronger and more exciting!

I really am loving being pregnant with this little angel! Just loving every day!

Kelsey and I.....2 Peas in a Pod...well, 2 Pods (Literally)

Here are the 2 Find gals both preggs. Kel is about 2.5 weeks behind me which is really fun! We have lots to talk about and to ask about (mostly the questions come from me, the virgin birth-giver).

Oh, and I forgot to blog that I think that I felt the baby kick on Monday. I have been having these kinds of feelings for a couple-ish weeks but never really know. Monday was the first time when I was like "I really think that was a kick....uh...but I am still not sure." Still excited for the swift kick in the side so I am positive that I know that it is. Crazy!

16.5 Weeks and Counting...

Crazy to think that it has been 4 months! Time goes fast and I cannot wait to meet this little one. I have been feeling amazingly! I have been going to the gym and walking and doing my beloved yoga lots which def. makes me feel better and have more energy!
We have an appt end of Feb and then our 20 week ultrasound March 6th! CANNOT WAIT!!!!!
